The Absolute Bottom 50 Punk Bands according to Chickenhead. I don’t know, I kind of like The Excrementals, McBono and the AIDS and Fauxhawk Frenzy.

Jihad to Go There

April 1st, 2007

According to On the Media, the soon to be “Terror Channel” will be airing this generation’s “Hogan’s Heroes”, called Jihad to Go There. From what I heard about it, I’d much rather watch that over “Heil Honey I’m Home!“.
Well, got to go…it’s April 1st! ;-P

I’m (Paul) off to Madrid and Sicily later in April. I was checking to see what the new carry-on regulations are and FRAK (yes, I’m a Battlestar fan- not to be confused with geek, dork etc), are they messed up. So, based on what we cannot bring on the plane, here are some shockers: small [...]

Turkish Star Wars

March 26th, 2007

I have a rough copy of Turkish Star Wars but found a better one on Google Video. This version has English subtitles and I’m not sure if I like it more with or without. If you’ve never seen the ridiculousness that is this movie then you have to at least flip to the fight scenes. [...]

Stop Sylvia Browne

January 22nd, 2007

Sylvia Browne’s been in the news recently for being amazingly wrong about the recent missing child case. Stop Sylvia Browne’s been around for a whille, I just hadn’t seen it. Lots of (sometimes) entertaining transcripts where she’s totally wrong from past television appearances.

CelltradeUSA and Cellswapper are new services trying to make it easier for people to exit their cellphone contracts without having to pay the exorbitant termination fees. It’s not as easy it sounds so reading the fine print is crucial.
I have no opinion on either one, but according to CellSwapper’s “video for dummies”, the service seems [...]

Jude Kemper and Brandon Corey

November 10th, 2006

When I came across the Find Jude Kemper website I was trying to figure out if there was any truth to their story. They link themselves to Brandon Corey so doubts are pretty strong. As “The Brandon Corey Story” explains, could our reptilian overlords have taken him? Yeah, er, no.

Mary Worth

November 7th, 2006

Mary Worth takes on the Black Eyed Peas. Stupid? Yes, but it made me chuckle.

Damnit, I wish that someone had told me there were halloween costumes this cool. I would’ve gone with the monkey featuring giant testicles option.
