Check if a site is down all over or just for you
Gmail was temporarily down today all over and I found (via Twitter) an awesome site that checks if a site is down across the board or just for you
Mozilla breaks up Firefox
If you’re like me and enjoy your FireFox extensions a little too much and acquire too many after awhile, hopefully breaking up each tab into its own process (a la Google Chrome an supposedly IE 8, which i was unaware of) will make FireFox more stable and not have the whole browser crash due to one tab’s malfunction.
Chop up sections of youtube videos
Ever wanted to share just a portion of a youtube video? Now you can with TubeChop (cannot see that they allow other flash video sites, but don’t think they do…for now)
Crime and Gaming
It’s sad that I did well at this game: Pick the Perp.
Compatibility
This site is now iPhone and iPod Touch friendly. I can’t say the same about most of the links you’ll visit from here, but hey, I’m trying to get with it.
Trent Reznor and Apple

Tiananmen Square Anniversary
20 years after Tiananmen Square, the Guardian interviews some of the student leaders.
Behind the scenes of a Google logo
I was playing with the IMAGE ZOOM firefox addon today and decided to use it on the Google logo (found on top of search results page, not Google home page). Well, when I zoomed in and out, I saw the “items behind the curtain”. they are essentially icons used in the search results (arrows are for rating website when logged into your google account). Neat, but that’s about it…

Check your WIFI status
i’m really digging the Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector which monitors/troubleshoots WIFI networks
