The Bush Era
Harper’s Magazine has a handy dandy list of stats from the Bush era. If you’re a Bush fan please note that they’re not all related to the man, just the time-frame he was in office. For example: “Minimum amount that religious groups received in congressional earmarks from 2003 to 2006: $209,000,000″. See? There are assholes on both sides.

January 20th, 2009Salary in 2006 of the White House’s newly created Director for Lessons Learned: $106,641
***supposedly it was Stuart G. Baker, but not entirely sure this position existed, but if so, I doubt he was at all busy with his job
And I thought those wacky titles people are given in companies were bad

January 21st, 2009Oh, the position was real, all right. It just had nothing to do with what the title suggested.

One of the many Bush/Cheney initiatives that were given misleading names to avoid public disapproval, I suspect.
