To keep the true-crime fanatic in me satiated, I’ve started a site that links to disturbing (in my opinion of course) news stories. Submissions are welcome as well if you’re interested in the seedier bits of news as well. Disturbing Humans is the place, and it’s not for everyone so be warned. All stories linked to are “newspaper friendly”, but it can still be a bit much.

Why does the new search engine Cuil (terrible name btw) look like it has thrown up on itself whenever it presents search results. What a mess, ugh.

Like or hate Keith Olbermann, this brief report he made on CBS correcting a huge mistake by John McCain points out a major blunder by the network. Why cover up something blatantly false being said by a presidential candidate so the general public doesn’t see it? How is not knowing the basics of the Iraq “surge” not something we should expect our next leader to actually know? Ridiculous I say!

Strange Maps is one of those sites that might have been posted here before, I honestly can’t remember. It’s easier to just repost sometimes than to bother looking something up, right? Anyways, their latest post, Niam Niam: the Cannibal Map of the World provides the quality reading I’ve come to love.

I always think that John Wayne Gacy’s mugshot can make almost anything creepier. Still, it has never worked so well as it did with this Batman viral marketing thing.
