Looks like something Homer Simpson would dream up- especially the UBS (Ultimate Bacon Sanwich). Mmmm... bacon!

But for my mind, bacon should be sliced thinly so that it crisps up really well when you cook it. It should also be placed between hot buttered toast- as if the fat load of all that bacon isn't enough!- not bread.

Save the bacon fat and after you've drain off any little bits of bacon detritis you can fry bread in it, or let it solidify like margarine. Top the bread off with some sugar and it's an old peasant treat- or at least a cheap stomach filler.

Amazing that eating such high calorie foods didn't really harm our forefathers that much as they did so much physical work. One whiff of a pound-and-a-quarter bacon sandwich is giving me a heart palpitation.
