This list of “stuff you didn’t know” pretty much delivered on that title for me. “El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la
Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula” is Los Angeles? Never heard of it. I did know a couple of these, but overall it’s a good read.

Fanfare
This new little USB computer to PC thingamabob is kind of neat. Of course you can always go to the amazingly handy and still updated Build Your Own PVR site that Rampy made quite a while ago.
katize.com
The weblog katize has so many good posts, rather than choose just one I suggest you just visit the place.
Puppy Juggling
Sometimes I just can’t get the hang of a game. Juggling Puppies is the latest.
The Death Report
Sugar mommies, daddies and babies
My brilliant plan is to quit my job and find myself a sugar mommy (sister site). I would not be mentioning this or even know of this site if it were not for NPR’s Marketplace. Classic!
Falsely Accused
The headline to this story pretty much says it all: “Falsely accused woman freed after 70 years”. That’s seven followed by a zero.
Lunch Box Pad
The Lunch Box Pad has info, pictures and advertisements related to lunch boxes. I liked the Scrapbook section. Vintage lunch boxes destroy the current crop of lame ones.
Comcast blocks some Internet traffic
If you have Comcast and Bittorrent isn’t what it used to be for you, this article might shed some light on the problem.
Bloons Tower Defense 2
Can’t get enough Bloons? Bloons Tower Defense 2 is here to give you more balloon popping fun.
Halloween Costumes For 2007
I’m trying to find a decent yet cheapo Halloween costume to wear when taking the kids out this year. Sadly, all of the ones in this Insane Asylum category are out of stock (and won’t fit me anyways, damn you chocolate!). Too bad, I liked a couple. From the same site, this Shrek Donkey is slightly disturbing for some reason. Maybe it’s the teeth.
Call and Response
Take old commercials, loop bits of them and you get this video. The Clapper commercial is now a bit more sinister.
Betapet
This is a “Scrabble Online Inspired Word Game”. You need a free account and I can’t vouch for a lack of spam, I suggest using a throwaway email address. Fun game though!
WNAR
WNAR streams radio from the 1930′s – 1950′s. Neato.
Energy Drinks
This guy has pictures of 455 different energy drink cans, of which I have tried none. Am I missing something by ignoring this obviously busy market? Not safe for work if some naughty language is an issue.
Spot the Difference
It’s only been a few days, but here’s yet another Spot the Difference game. This one features scrolling, so it’s a bit different.
World’s Most Beautiful Libraries
This collection of photos depicting the World’s Most Beautiful Libraries is pretty amazing. My local has nothing on these.
Is it Christmas?
This site answers one simple question.
13 Haunted Houses
13 Haunted Houses That Will Make You Wet Your Pants in 2007. I might have to hit up that one in Exeter, NH.
Portal: The Flash Version
While not quite the same as its Orange Box cousin, the idea is sort of the same: Portal: The Flash Version.
