First punk albums were all released in ‘77 so how is that not the anniversary?

Because there were punk bands releasing records before then.Television, The Stooges, the first Ramones album (1976), The Buzzcocks “Spiral Scratch” (1976)… 1977 is the go-to year because a lot of good and/or influential bands came out in the press then, it’s not the first year of punk though.
