Knights Of Rock

The Knights of Rock is a rhythm game where instead of getting a dancer in the background you get knights fighting. Because that makes sense.

The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai

poster

The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai looks bizarre. Oh and not safe for work. A description from the site: “Sachiko Hanai works as a call girl at an imekura (or sexual role-play club). While waiting for her co-worker, she stumbles upon a secret meeting between a North Korean and a Middle Eastern-looking man that proves to be a deadly day. When violence breaks out, a stray bullet hits her smack in the center of her forehead and leaves her staggering for the door. The next day she finds a strange metal can in her pocket and, after dislodging the bullet, she’s suddenly able to understand foreign languages and solve complex mathematic formulas. Unfortunately, the cylinder she picked up happens to contain the finger of the American President, whose fingerprint is capable of unleashing a devastating nuclear apocalypse across the world. Will the call girl turn genius be able to stop the world’s mass destruction or will it be left to the finger!”.

This has to be good, right?

Led Zeppelin

Download mp3’s of the original songs that Led Zeppelin “borrowed” from. The site’s a little slow but it may just be getting hammered at the moment.

Artillery Live

Have a bit of multiplayer fun with Artillery Live. I like it, it’s not complicated and you can play for a few minutes.

Boomshine

The game Boomshine is a lot like another game I’ve played recently (but can’t seem to find on the site, I swear I posted it though). Cause chain reactions to get the needed number of dots.

Paper Portitude

Paper Portitude, classic literature online. I like the color scheme, it makes reading a bit more easy on the eyes as opposed to the usual black text on glaring white I usually see on the web.

Adsense

Oh good God no! Yes, I’ve added text ads to the site. I hope they don’t detract from your crap-viewing pleasure, but as my goal this year is moving my family out of the city we currently live in I’m going by the “every penny counts” rule. I get a few cents for any clicks so I’m not going to talk you out of visiting the links if you’re so inclined. If you don’t want to though, I still love you. Seeing what ads get pushed here is half the fun anyways. I’m betting lots of completely irrelevant ones.

UPDATE later in the day: Wowza! Thanks to everyone who clicked already, decent cash for a few clicks. Appreciated!

Blocky

Blocky is a new take on an older formula. It’s like matching colors but you drag rectangles to remove many at once instead. Good stuff.

M

One of my favorite movies of all time gets the Archive.org treatment. Fritz Lang’s “M” is available for streaming or downloading in various formats. I still swear by the Criterion version, but I am a big dork so keep that in mind.

Video Glath

Video Glath has quite a few good shows to stream with favorites being “Penn and Teller: Bullshit!”, “Robot Chicken” and “Family Guy”. Watch ‘em while they last.

Netvibes

Friend of the site Paul sent me an email to check out Netvibes. This portal/home page is pretty cool if a bit cluttered when you start. If you’re into tweaking out your starting point online then check it out.

Estus Pirkle

Did you know Estus Pirkle (he of the “Communism Is Good” samples that Negativland loved to use) was involved in films? “If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do?” is particularly amazing. Remember, dancing is evil and communists are taking over!

Anne Frank Is Rolling In Her Grave

There’s nothing quite as classy as going to what was once a tribute page to Anne Frank and getting a domain squatter advertising hot sexy moms and married women for affairs.

Overkill Apache has enough destruction to satisfy the side-scrolling shooter fan in me.
