It may have become pretty weak, but I had a good browse through the Meet the Gang section of the Official Peanuts Website. The first strip held a lot of promise.

How I PC’d an Apple G5
This person who turned a brand new Apple G5 into an Athlon PC should be beaten. “How I PC’d an Apple G5″.
Stripeout
It’s White Stripes Pong.
Excuse2Animate
Excuse2Animate features stick figures, lots of blood, guns, Sonic the Hedgehog and music by the White Stripes.
Juggler
Juggler is simple and addictive. Keep the balls in the air. That’s it.
License Plates
License Plates of the World is a site about exactly that.
Boxbots
Mixing free time, garbage and a wish to combine the two into robots: Boxbots.
Chicken and Eggs
Chicken and Eggs is a ripoff of Kaboom!, but I still like it.
Drum Machine
The amimated rhythm short Drum Machine uses characters from Tokyo Plastic.
Lawinen Surfer
Squash the penguins and jump the crevasses, all in the name of high scores: Lawinen Surfer.
Velvet Embraces
“Velvet Embraces” gives you your dream, Elvis in Heaven on a mousepad. But wait, there’s more! Like Dale Earnhardt? He’s there WITH Elvis and Jesus! Don’t forget to buy “Jesus and Elvis meet Diana and Mother Theresa at the Gates of Heaven” before you leave.
Morto the Magician
It’s old, but I hadn’t seen it: Morto the Magician, written by Steve Martin. Excellent.
Stats
Does anyone here know anything about tracking web stats? That free tracker I use over to the left shows approximately 700 hits a day, while the stat program that sits on my server shows 3,111 successful requests for pages and 2,688 distinct hosts served yesterday. That’s quite a difference. Is the free one just really awful, or is my server software wacky?
Vodafone
Vodafone’s Future Site is extremely well done. Sound and broadband recommended.
New York Maps
The Gotham Gazette Map Archive can be informative (concentration of rats and mice in NYC) and depressing (elderly housing).
Ski Jump
Another Ski Jump game. I’m hoping for more winter sport variety next year.
Museum Victoria
The Museum Victoria in Australia has a small but interesting selection of online exhibits.
Smoking Ephemera
![]()
I love me some good smoking ephemera.
Last.fm
I posted a link to the online radio station Last.FM in July, and I “rediscovered” it the other day. I can’t believe there’s only 5 people currently logged in and listening now. The music selection is unbelievably good (to me anyways), and you can skip tracks you hate.
Steelball
I know you use the spacebar to catch it, but Steelball completely defeated me.
